Women You Oughta Know is a weekend celebration of Detroit women’s voices, stories, and artistry presented by Matrix Theatre Company. The event features performances by local artists, including Kamryn Marck, Lindsay McCaw, and Kristi Ternes, along with guest headliners sharing excerpts of their work. Audiences can also connect with Detroit women entrepreneurs and community leaders highlighted throughout the weekend, making it a vibrant celebration of the women shaping the city.

Director: Emily Lange
Emily Rose Lange is a stage director, choreographer, and teaching artist. She recently moved to Detroit with her partner and two dogs. She is a lover of board games, art festivals, and dessert. She is very excited to be making her debut at Matrix Theatre with this production of Grounded! Some of her most recent credits include: Emergency Protocol Camouflage (Michigan Playwright’s Festival), Dance Like the Stars (Planet Ant), The Resurrectionist (Secondhand Rose Players), Interventions (Jackson Festival for the Arts). emilyroselange.com
