REGISTRATION is COMING!
WOW!! We are overwhelmed and SO Grateful for all the interest we're getting for Summer Camp 2026! THANK YOU! Rest assured that
Summer Camp 2026 is happening, and Registration will open soon.
But we wanted to answer some FAQs so you can plan your Summer!

When is Camp This Summer?
Our late August, two-week camp is back; do one week or two!
August 17-21, 2026
August 24-28, 2026

AND June 15-19, 2026!
That's right! We're adding a week of Camp this year!

When will Registration Open?
April 24th!
Historically, we have opened registration on the last day of our Winter/Spring youth classes (yeah, we have classes!), the 3rd Friday of April, and we're going to stick with that. As much as we wanted to get it out earlier for you, we just don't have the capacity.

About the camps -

At the start of each camp week, campers will get to know each Teaching Artist and learn core skills to prepare them for the week.
On the following days, campers will be put into small groups and given a MYSTERY BOX. The goal is for them to work together to create a performance based on the box's contents.

After opening and exploring their box, campers are guided through creative writing and play exercises to ignite their imagination.
Matrix Teaching Artists will then facilitate discussions identifying themes and ideas that stemmed from the contents of the mystery box.
Campers will create a story, develop characters, setting and will stage their production.

Each week's camp culminates in a showcase of original performances for families and friends.
