“I am here to tell you the weirdest story of my life in the most truthful way I know how.”

The Speed of Dark tells the true story of an old house with some serious history that was maybe/probably/definitely very haunted. But more than that, this interactive, nonfictional show explores the stories that radicalize us. Set in Michigan not too far from Detroit, and exploring themes of abolition, Disability Justice, and the power of the arts, the Speed of Dark explores the story of a headstone, a house, some railroad tracks, and the complicated life overlap that made it all matter. Part spell, part call to action, part painfully true love letter to the dead, and 100% true, this show pulls no punches when it comes to shadow work…
