Celebrate the power and beauty of spoken word and Detroit poetry at our National Poetry Month Showcase and Open Mic, an evening dedicated to creativity, culture, and community. Featuring dynamic and powerful performances by One Single Rose®, Dr. Will Langford, Azizi Jasper, and Peace, each bringing their unique voice and perspective to the stage. Hosted by One Single Rose®, the showcase invites audiences to experience poetry that inspires reflection, sparks conversation, and honors the rich tradition of storytelling in Detroit through verse. Following the Showcase of our featured poets, the stage is available to anyone during our Open Mic. Join us for a memorable night of rhythm, expression, and artistic connection.
