Acting and Playwriting Classes

Now PLAYing (Ages 5-7)
DAYS: Saturdays
TIMES: 11 am-1 pm
LOCATION: Matrix Theatre

Children will be introduced to acting, movement, and memorization. They will gain self confidence while they work towards a final performance!

Being on Stage… (Ages 8-11)
DAYS: Tuesdays & Thursdays
TIMES: 4 pm-6 pm
LOCATION: TBA

Youth will learn the basics of acting, improvisation and creating a production based on familiar stories and fairy tales.

Acting Is… (Ages 11-14)
DAYS: Tuesdays & Thursdays
TIMES: 4 pm-6 pm
LOCATION: TBA

Young artists will develop advanced performance skills in acting, movement and improvisation as they create their own short production.

Young Directors (Ages 14-18)
DAYS: Mondays & Wednesdays
TIMES: 4 pm-6 pm
LOCATION: Matrix Theatre
Workshop (2nd Floor)

Teens will learn how to tour the original Matrix production Caution: This is How It's Caught with professional touring artist. They will create a touring version of the show, and take it to schools and other after school programs. There is no fee for this class, students receive stipends.
